Postcards for the charity event

I made some postcards to sell at the charity event ( Heal Yourself, Heal Japan!) today, and a half of the proceeds goes to the charity.

This one is Doug's design on the back of the T-shirt.

I used T-shirt transfer sheets on dark fabrics. It was a fun project.

My younger son wore the black Sam the Bunny T-shirt today, and we went to egg hunting.

これはダグさんのデザインをTシャツの後ろに写した。

ダークカラー用のトランスファーシートを使用。あ〜楽しかった。

次男坊が黒のサムTシャツを着て今日はエッグハンティングへ行った。

Choco chip cookies / Community Garden

Both my sons had play date yesterday, so I made choco chip cookies. I used Hershey's Chipits recipe.   

 昨日は子供らが友達と遊ぶ日だったからチョコチップクッキーを焼いた。ハーシーズのチピッツに載ってるレシピを使った。

去年のイチゴの残り。

Grape tree is finally blossoming. Blueberry is coming back again.

ぶどうの木がやっとつぼみを付けて花開いて来た。ブルーベリーがまた戻って来た。

One of my sons is watering.

Homemade Raisin yeast / Leaven / Campagne etc

I made a brand new raisin yeast ( starter ). Above left is second day, above right and bottom pictures are fifth day. They are getting bubbly and smell like very sweet wine.

新しいレーズン自家製酵母を作った。上左が２日目、右と下の写真は５日目で泡立って、甘いワインみたいな香りがする。

I made leaven by mixing raisin starter and whole wheat flour. Those pictures show first day of rising and second day rising. I mixed flour and water on the second day.

中種をレーズン酵母と全粒粉混ぜて作った。写真は１日目と２日目の物で、１日目の後は水と強力粉を混ぜた。 

I baked some bread today again.

また今日パン焼いた。

Cinnamon Rolls

I sprinkled vanilla sugar on top to make extra crunchy.

バニラシュガーを振ってカリカリ食感のトッピング。

Mixed Rye Bread

I added raisins, cranberries, and figs in the same dough to bake mini fruits mixed rye buns.
My children liked them very much.

同じ生地にレーズン、クランベリー、いちじくを入れてミニパンを焼いたら子供たちは好きで食べた。

When I was in the garden yesterday morning, there was deer in the bush.

昨日の朝庭に出たら鹿がいた。

I baked campagne bread ( it may be french name?? ) yesterday.

昨日カンパーニュを焼いた。

I had smoked salmon sandwich with campagne bread for lunch today.

今日のランチはカンパーニュでスモークサーモンサンドイッチ作った。

I baked Sam and bunny cookies. There are many different faces of Sam. Easter is coming soon.

サムとうさぎクッキーを焼いた。いろんな顔のサムができた。もうすぐでイースター。

Doug and I stopped by the community garden this afternoon to built more healthy soil. It is a blueberry pot sitting on the bed. We joined this community garden last year. It is great that we can join again this year.

午後にダグさんとコミュニティーガーデンに行って土の準備をした。箱の中に乗っかってるのはブルーベリー。このコミュニティーガーデンに去年参加して、今年も参加できるから良かった。

We bought fig and orange trees. We heard we can grow them indoor.

いちじくとオレンジの木を買った。室内で育てる事ができるらしい。
