Ciabatta / Flower cards and a pig with BD balloon card

My first ciabatta bread. It was chewy and very moist. We all loved it.

チャバタパン　もちもちして水分多め。おいしかった。

I used some Martha Stewart punches, other punches and my hand-carved pig with a balloon stamp.

マーサ　スチュワートのお花や葉っぱ、風船のパンチ、その他のパンチを使用。私が作ったぶたさんの消しゴムはんこ。

I am cutting out Doug's dragon design.

I transfered it on the T-shirt. It is kid's small size.

Tシャツにくっつけた。これは子供のSサイズ。

I made some oil stains on my shirt, so I transfered my butterfly design to hide the stains.

油染みをシャツにつけてしまったから蝶のデザインで隠した。

May 5th was Childrens Day in Japan. I didn't have time to make traditional mochi sweet, so I made soybean powder mochi instead.

こどもの日にかしわもち作れなかったから代わりにきなこもち。

Postcards for the charity event

I made some postcards to sell at the charity event ( Heal Yourself, Heal Japan!) today, and a half of the proceeds goes to the charity.

This one is Doug's design on the back of the T-shirt.

I used T-shirt transfer sheets on dark fabrics. It was a fun project.

My younger son wore the black Sam the Bunny T-shirt today, and we went to egg hunting.

これはダグさんのデザインをTシャツの後ろに写した。

ダークカラー用のトランスファーシートを使用。あ〜楽しかった。

次男坊が黒のサムTシャツを着て今日はエッグハンティングへ行った。

Earth Girl T-shirt

A friend and I made T-shirts this morning transfering the image of my Earth Girl stamp. We will wear this shirts on the next event.

今朝友達と一緒にEarth Girl stampの絵を使ってTシャツ作った。今度のイベントで着る予定。

My friend Eri decided to go back to Japan. Friends and I had a party last night.

I made a card and her portrait stamp.

えりが日本に帰る。友達と一緒に昨晩パーティーを開いた。

私はカードと似顔絵はんこを作った。

I baked raspberry mousse cake for the party. This is before decoration.

I was happy that Eri enjoyed this cake.

Many residents in Japan lost their electricity due to earthquake and many east coast areas of Japan are losing electricity temporary to help Tohoku to regain their electricity. This is the heart candle light that symbolizes how sincerely Japanese people care for each other even though under the inconvenient circumstance they have to face right now.  

たくさんの日本の人たちが地震のため停電になり困っています。関東では計画停電が行われ東北へ電気の供給が回るようにしています。このろうそくのハートの炎は、こんな不便な状態でも助け合っている日本のみんなの心を表す意味で作りました。

Many different countries think of Japan. I hope our big love will reach there.

たくさんの国が日本を応援してます。たくさんの愛が届きますように！！

24 hour pray for Japan from Victoria BC Canada

We organized a group to help Japan in any ways as possible.

This time we are holding prayers for Japan 24 hours this weekend.

Today is Hinamatsuri, so I used this stamp that I carved a few years ago.

今日はひな祭りやし数年前に作ったはんこをアップ。

All my bread photos look same.  I like to spread coconut oil and honey on my slice.
パンの写真全部同じに見える。パンにココナッツオイルとはちみつをぬるのがお気に入り。

I made this stamp three years ago.  これは３年前に作ったはんこ。

My sons requested me to make pancakes this morning. I had yogurt and little bit of buttermilk left. It was a perfect way to use them up. I added more sugar and honey for the sweet flavor. We liked it except my older son. He said, "It's too sweet for me, Mama."

子供らがパンケーキ作ってって今朝はリクエストしてきた。ヨーグルトもバターミルクも少し残ってたし使い切るのにちょうど良かった。砂糖とはちみつをいつもより少し足して甘めにしてみた。長男だけが、「ママ、これ甘すぎる。」って言うた。
